Artist Updates

Michael Gordon:

We had a conversation with Michael one of the pioneers of the Lover's Rock phenomenon. He is very enthusiastic about the release of his latest work. Michael has been working diligently on his new album which is entitled 'JOURNEY', which is due for release August 2011. This is an album which shows how Michael and his music has grown in stature, with a degree of maturity and as always full of confidence. One of my favourites his rendition of the Sam Cooke classic 'A CHANGE IS GONNA COME' listen out for the album on www.uniquerdaio.org with The Ravers Roadshow hosted by Ragga-Don.

Sadonians:

Latest updates, If you're a fan of Audrey (Sadonian) Scott, you will find two song clips added to the Sadonians page, let your friends know further updates to follow: Forthcoming dates, Album release dates, and much more.

Kofi:

'Fridays Child' known to us as one of the Queens of Lover's Rock, has embarked on a number of new ventures one of which has lead her to diversify with her talents to give us a new single entitled 'KEEP ON WHINING' feat. Peter Ram, produced by Monsta Piece Productions. Check out Kofi's page take a listen.

 Carroll Thompson:

Undoutedly Carroll has earned herself the title Queen Of Lover's Rock for endless contributions of songs and hard work in the music industry, not to mention flying the flag for Lover's Rock, her tracks are endless and now for all her fans Carroll's much anticipated album 'FEEL'S SO GOOD', is available, take a look at Carroll's page and familiarise yourself with one of the Queens Of Lover's Rock, while listening to some of her hits.

 Heather 'Cool Notes' Haywood:

Another one of the Ladies of Lover's Rock to grace us with her talents in the late 70's & 80's with the group 'The Cool Notes', has been tirelessly working with Creative Minds to produce her long awaited new solo album 'INNER VISION', which is due to be launched in early 2012. A career which has spanned 20 years. The songstress Heather Haywood is a force on her own, has been working to produce the finest album a female British artist could want at this time in her career. Check out the 'Olympic 2012 song' featuring. Heather Haywood. We need your votes. We have had some very positive comments from various Olympic bodies  and with your help we can make it as one of the Olympic short listed songs. Check YouTube now!!.

 Helen Rogers:

One of the secret jewels in the Lover's Rock crown. Helen attended the prestigious Italia Conti Academy for performing arts and nurtured dreams of becoming an actress, appearing in music videos for 70's pop stars Gary Numan and Godley and Creme of 10cc. However, her love of music in general, and Lovers Rock in particular led her at the age of 18 to independent record label, One Stop Music, where alongside Eric Gordon, Natural Touch and Spy (Investigators) she began what would become an exciting and varied career in the music industry. See Helen's page to learn more.

Helen has kick started 2012 in fine style, ahead of the release of her new album she has given us another track to wet our appetite, visit Helen's page to learn more.
